Google has lauched their own browser! Known as Google Chrome, it is another bold move from a company that wants to be everything to everyone.

If Google starts to offer an affiliate program for this, Firefox better watch out! Google Chrome could make a significant impact. Consider that a Firefox user isn’t afraid to install a plugin, or use tabs. A Firefox user looks for the best experience from their browser, and since Google Chrome is based on the faster Safari browser… it is possible the they will opt for Chrome.

Combine this with Googles V8 javascript rendering engine that should in theory make Chrome quicker still. Plus, with new features that will grow (due to it being open-source software), It could rapidly make Google the largest internet company in the world… especially if it’s offered pre-installed on all new Windows machines!

My Take: If Google offers affiliates $1-$2 per install, AND it’s faster… I believe it could quickly grow to be the favorite browser in the world.. if not, it might just be another try at taking over the world…
